A little more than a little disrupted

My schedule was so out of whack today. Instead of a few steady work hours, I traded those in to run a bunch of errands. They weren't mine, but my mom did appreciate the company.

Life has been like that lately. If it's not one thing interrupting me, it's another. What I really need to do is lock myself in my room for a week and straighten out my priorities. I will only emerge when I learn to say "no" a little more often. I knew life was going to get this way by the slow cluttering of my room. When I get too many material things around me, I know that it's time to stop, take a look, and (in most cases) chart a new course. That's exactly what I'm going to do, beginning tonight. While I realistically can't lock myself away from the world, I will do my best to find a little time each day to work on that list of priorities.
