A
Record of My Vinyl: A Collector's Catalog is a unique guide/journal
that provides record collectors with useful information as well as a
way to properly catalog their vinyl collection. The book includes a
few pages that talk about how to care for your vinyl and how to grade
your vinyl.
Much
of the journal is made up of pages where you can collect information
about each record that you own. The entries allow you to add the
artist, album, label, catalog number, country, year, grade and liner
notes. At the top of each page you can also assign a category to the
group. If you are missing something from your collection, the back
pages are for listing your most-wanted vinyl titles. These pages are
perforated so you can remove them so you can refer to them when you
vinyl hunting.
The
best part about this journal is the cover. It is made to look like it
has a record on it, but it goes a step further to have the raised
grooves on it just like real vinyl. It is a high quality journal that
any record collector would want to have to complement their
collection.
