A glimpse into the writer's life.
Hmmmm....a very good question. I guess if I had to choose between only those 2 options I'd have to choose "Giving in", because sometimes giving in is a way of eventually getting what you want further down the road, whereas giving up is bluntly chucking the whole thing away. Just this bloggers humble opinion...:)
What made you think of this (I'm wondering out of curiosity)?I think I would have to choose giving in as well. If you give up, you're basically giving in to whatever it is that you're up against - do you know what I mean? However, if you give in, you're not necessarily giving up. You could give in while compromising about something - that's not giving up entirely.
Well, what made me think of this question was my current situation. I have these big dreams about moving to NYC, but everyone is telling me that I can't do it... of course, all their points are valid. And my choices now are giving up my dream completely, or giving into the pressure and making a life in my current location... which will be a less-than-exciting option.
That makes sense. Good luck with that situation. Follow your heart and don't let other people hold you back from something you truly want to do.
Thanks! I appreciate it. I think my dreams are heading in an exciting direction so... we'll see what happens.
