The DNC on NBC

So, I have been watching the nightly DNC coverage on NBC. It is interesting, but what I think it most interesting is that most of the speeches work out just like the State of the Union address. It's a fifteen minute speech that gets dragged into about 30 minutes because the person cannot talk over all the clapping. It was especially noticeable with Hillary Clinton last night. I had to turn it off because it went past 11, and I would rather watch The Daily Show making fun of the DNC than the actual DNC coverage. Hmm... tells you a lot about American politics, doesn't it?
