End of summer assessment

Here we are now at the end of summer. What do I have to show for myself? Well, I can't say that it's much. I went from steady job to unemployment back to a steady job again (that's the good part).

As for fiction, I'm steadily chugging along. The poetry manuscript is still on the table, calling to be edited for the third time. I can't say that there are many finished products to unleash on the world (unless you count all those articles I write daily), but in the background, there has been a fury of papers, red marks on the pages, and late nights molding metaphors.

I'm happy with the progress I have made so far, and I just hope I can continue to the pace.
