A great website to gain some general information and advice on starting a writing career and the different subcategories you can choose from such as technical writing, copywriting and editing.

Freelance Job Openings
This website offers a wide variety of writing jobs, searchable by location, category and experience level.
Guru
Guru offers a wide variety of online freelance work for writers, designers and graphic artists. Jobs are awarded through a bidding process.
Online Writing Jobs
This is a site that searches through listings at Craigslist for writing related jobs.
