Reviewing Untitled Jersey City Project

This post brought to you by Untitled Jersey City Project. All opinions are 100% mine.

Just across the river from Manhattan, a hard-edged old town is being polished up into a sleek new city, but the players haven't changed. The Untitled Jersey City Project is one of the latest online entertainment experiments. This project is a unique work-in-progress television drama playing out online. The project consists of eight short-form episodes that are pulled from a larger story—leaving enticing cliffhangers and new twists popping up.

The story that unfolds is filled with fame, power, and lots of money. Who will win? Who will lose?

Episode 2 depicts Frank and Ray meeting with Jane Kaplan, a reporter from the The Ledger to discuss the Waterfront Stadium Project. But Kaplan knows that there are some not-so-favorable elements to the story, which she fully plans to explore.

The episode left me wondering whether Kaplan is playing around for her own reasons, or to get closer to the story. The episode also left me wanting a lot more—I'm definitely anticipating the next episode. Overall, the story is intriguing, the actors are spot-on, and it seems that this online experiment is a great way to get out a new idea.
