The world feels upside down right now--that's why the normal, everyday things don't seem important or enough anymore. Do I really think that little updates on my writing is the best thing to be doing right now? Probably not. That's why I've been silent. When it comes to the voices that need to be heard right now, it's not mine. It is my time to listen, and that's what I will continue doing. I will be back with updates soon, but for now, I'm doing what I can to amplify those who need to be heard and taking on the tasks that I can, which included voting in my state's primary on Tuesday. It's not enough, I know, but it's what I've got.
