Isn't it the middle of the week yet?

This week seems to be going by really slow. Maybe it's simply the fact that I know the last Bones of the season is on Thursday. I'm anticipating watching it, but after its over no more until the fall. And with the terrible way House ended this season, I figure Bones may arrive at the same fate. I learned early in my writing career that "it was all just a dream" is very bad way to end something. And hallucinations must be handled with care to work... and House's didn't.

The work front isn't much better. I'm in a serious rut and can't get out. That makes the weeks go by very slowly. I need to get back to fiction, otherwise I'll never be able to say that I love the work I do. Sure, I may love the convenience of making my own schedule and not having to actually be around other people, but the rest of those good old office politics still apply. And that's the only thing I'm trying to get away from... that and working eight hours in a row. I'm serious when I ask: How does anyone do that without going insane? I've maybe done it three times in my life and afterward I never wanted to go back to work again. I guess you really have to love your job and just loose track of time, right?

Oh, and I thought I might end this blog post with a little shameless promotion. I have a number of new ads in the right sidebar for you all to peruse, if you think something is interesting. I'm just promoting a promotion, so does that really qualify as shameless promotion? Hmmm. The things I think about!

Entrecard

My blog is now a part of Entrecard. And to be honest, I'm still not sure how it works over there, but I'm going to take some time tonight (in between Bones and ER, of course!) to learn how everything works.

I found the best motivation for my freelance career: PARENTS! Because the don't really want me here just as much as I don't want to be here, I tend to work twice as hard writing articles. I easily did 13 today in just a couple of hours. That means if I keep up that pace, I'll have enough money to move out in no time--hopefully. And yes, I'm still planning on moving to New York. If anyone knows any insider info about moving to the city, please share.

I watched Bones and House tonight!! They were both great, but a little disappointing. I didn't want Zack to be Gormagon's apprentice. But I think I would have been much worse off if it had been Hodgins. I really wanted it to be Sweets, but that was totally ruled out when they added him to the credits a couple of episodes ago.

And on House, I did hate Amber, but it was so sad to see Wilson cry. And now he's REALLY going to hate House.

Now all I need to know is if Zack is still going to be a character on the show or not... it will affect my script, though not so much that I'll get mad. Hmm... I don't really want to wait until September to try and finish it. Whatever. I'll figure something out.

I feel like pulling out my hair. I have been alone in this apartment since Tuesday and I'm going a little nutty. It's raining outside, so I've been avoiding leaving as it is. And work has come to a standstill--which for once is a good thing. But I really wanted to work until Friday night, not Wednesday night. But I can deal. I won't be back to take any assignments again until next Tuesday, so it's a good thing. Just really boring.

I have almost everything packed. The only thing left is the clothes, computer, and of course season 2 of Bones. I have to have something watch while eating lunch, right? And I got to see one of my favorite I Love Lucy eps today: "Lucy is Enciente." I love that one! CSI is on tonight, and so is ER. What have I got ot complain about? I can sing as loud as I want, walk around naked (although I don't)... I'll need to get used to living alone as it is. I won't have a roommate to live with in my next place. I don't want one. I loved having one while I was here in college, but I think it's time to get going on my own. Someone want to point me in the right direction?

15 articles today. Plus I have 10 more lined up to finish in the morning. The ones in the morning are only 250 words each, so it shouldn't take very long. Not too shabby. It's surprising that I would have this much work at the end of the week... the writing well usually dries up by Wednesday night. But I have worked everyday since last Sunday. It's really more like a full time job now. and when I don't have articles to write, I'm autosurfing for my published work to earn some dough. I really make no money from that, but at least it's something to do when work is slow.

Not only that, but I worked on my Bones script again. It's probably just because that show is about the only new show I have been watching. I know it's silly to try and write a script for a television show. You kind have to know what you're doing when you do that, plus have an agent and some talent at scriptwriting. But it's fun. Too bad I know I'll never get anywhere with it!
